Purchasing assets abroad

Challenge

Bluestone recently helped a new company, which has been developed to sell Indonesian manufactured furniture and accessories worldwide.

Case Study

The furniture is produced in the company's 100,000 square foot manufacturing plant based in Jepara, Indonesia and employs just over 600 employees taking shifts in a Workshop that operates 24 Hour days. The directors of the company needed £300,000 to fund wood working machines for their manufacturing plant in Indonesia. Due to the fact that our client is classed as a new start company the business did not have a balance sheet to support the lending.

Our Solution

We were able to structure the funding differently by taking a second charge facility over the directors holiday property in Scotland.

This enabled us to meet the clients' objectives using a creative method of Finance.
