Job Purpose
  • To provide excellent relationship management within existing BSL managed vendors and to source new managed vendors
  • To use sales techniques to maximise opportunities working with Customer Development Manager (CDM) to achieve and exceed team targets
Key Responsibilities
  • To maintain regular contact (via telephone and visits) with managed vendors (and customers when required) to manage and develop relationships efficiently in line with set guidelines
  • To source and win new managed vendor relationships in line with agreed targets
  • To maintain a good understanding of Finance Company preferences and rate structures
  • To maintain a high success rate of business
  • To have a healthy business pipeline at all times
  • To provide evidence of levels of business activity in a form appropriate to provide to management
  • To have excellent knowledge and awareness of BSL competitors
Skill Requirements Essential/Desirable
  • To be able to work efficiently in a highly pressured sales environment
  • To be organised and methodical in approach
  • To have a basic appreciation of company financial statements
  • To be proficient and confident working with numbers
  • To have a successful track record in sales and relationship development
