Job Purpose
  • To maintain and develop relationships with existing BSL customers
  • To use sales techniques to maximise opportunities
  • To work with Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to achieve and exceed team targets
Key Responsibilities
  • To contact existing customers (and vendors when required) in line with agreed targets
  • To visits customers (and vendors when required) regularly with a view to developing relationships
    and gaining opportunities
  • To maintain an understanding of Finance Company preferences and rate structures
  • To maintain a high success rate of closing and writing business
  • To have a healthy business pipeline at all times
  • To provide evidence of levels of business activity in a form appropriate to provide to management
  • To have good knowledge and awareness of BSL competitors
  • Raise quotations
Skill Requirements Essential/Desirable
  • To be able to work efficiently in a highly pressured sales environment
  • To be organised and methodical in approach
  • To have a basic appreciation of company financial statements
  • To be proficient and confident working with numbers
  • To have a successful track record in sales and relationship development
