Job Purpose
  • To maintain relationships with existing QOL vendors and source new QOL vendors
  • To use sales techniques to maximise opportunities and achieve and exceed targets
  • To manage front-end sales process competently and efficiently
Key Responsibilities
  • To contact QOL vendors in line with agreed targets
  • To visits QOL vendors (and customers when required) regularly with a view to developing relationships and gaining opportunities
  • To maintain a good understanding of Finance Company preferences and rate structures
  • To produce finance quotations accurately and efficiently to BSL customers and vendors
  • To generate credit proposals accurately and in a timely manner
  • To provide precise information to enable generation of finance documentation and to generate finance documentation in the absence of MM
  • To maintain a high success rate of closing and writing business
  • To have a healthy business pipeline at all times
  • To provide evidence of levels of business activity in a form appropriate to provide to management
  • To have good knowledge and awareness of BSL competitors
Skill Requirements Essential/Desirable
  • To be able to work efficiently in a highly pressured sales environment
  • To be organised and methodical in approach
  • To have a basic appreciation of company financial statements
  • To be proficient and confident working with numbers
  • To have a successful track record in sales and relationship development
