Bluestone Leasing - Case Studies
Don't think it can't be funded

Challenge

Many customers approach Bluestone Leasing for a specific part of a project without realising how Bluestone can assist in many areas of their business.

Case Study

A prime example of this is a customer who approached us with regards to acquiring some IT hardware. This customer is a large contractor specialising in mechanical and electrical installations within the retail, commercial, education and luxury residential sectors with offices in England and Scotland. With over 200 personnel, they have been established since 1971 and have grown from a family run local contractor to a nationwide innovator in M&E engineering and contracting.

At the time of our first discussions, it was discovered that this customer had several projects they wished to complete over the following eighteen months. These were being evaluated as to which project warranted first priority. As different decision makers had control over different areas of the business, this was proving to be a lengthy and time consuming exercise. The main problem was that many of these projects would not fit within budgets but were necessary for the ongoing competitiveness and productivity of the company.

The company decided to take initial finance for upgrading their IT infrastructure. This was essential for many of the projects they wished to complete over the coming months. Discussions continued between the management team and Bluestone with regards to the other projects.

Our Solution

Bluestone offered support and answered the many questions raised. A full range of projects was decided upon which included a full upgrade of software across all departments and sites, a blueprint folder, an upgrade of CAD design software and the fit-out of an additional open office space including furniture and IT hardware.

This is all completed within one lease, within the budget allowed and removed the need to prioritise except in terms of disturbance to staff during the changes.
